On November 7, 2023, during the 6th China International Import Expo, Panasonic Electric Appliances (China) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Panasonic Electric Appliances) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Suzhou Jieruisi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Suzhou JRS) to seize the new opportunities presented by the times.

Homma Tetsuro, the Global Vice President and Group Representative for Northeast Asia of Panasonic Holdings Corporation, and Billy Wen, the Chairman of Suzhou JRS, among others, attended the signing ceremony.

In his speech, Homma stated that Panasonic and JRS have achieved a strategic synergy through this signing and will collaborate sincerely to further develop both parties and provide more convenient and high-quality services and products for customers. He also expressed his anticipation that the agreement would create new value for both companies.

Billy Wen said that JRS will work jointly with Panasonic to leverage each other’s strengths and play a role in Panasonic’s battery-related equipment, AOI inspection equipment, and turret reel input equipment, etc. They will also enhance cooperative R&D and promote the upgrading of key technologies.

Suzhou JRS’s business encompasses areas such as new energy batteries, semiconductors, consumer electronics, and photovoltaics, and has been dedicated to providing customers with comprehensive solutions for automated testing, precision assembly, full-automatic production lines, and smart factories.

Panasonic Electric Appliances’ business scope is extremely broad, and its main business in China is concentrated on the three major domains of “healthy and intelligent living spaces,” “new energy vehicle components,” and “intelligent manufacturing.”

After the strategic agreement was signed, both sides will actively utilize their respective effective resources and further deepen cooperation in the fields of energy conservation and automation of production. They will form a pattern of cooperation, complementarity, mutual benefit, and common development, and achieve favorable investment returns and social benefits based on the principle of sincere cooperation and mutual benefit.
